History

Established for more than 70 years in St-Donat, Boulangerie St-Donat makes and sells pastries. Its original mission was to bake products and distribute them locally on a daily basis.

Located in the Lanaudière-Laurentides region, St-Donat is well-known and appreciated by tourists. Vacationers and visitors alike have contributed in promoting the Boulangerie’s excellent reputation outside the village. The owners took advantage of this opportunity to increase the product line and enlarge the distribution network.

In 1989, Guillaume St-Amour bought the company. While focusing on product quality standards he added to the already well established line of products and marketed goods inspired by some homemade recipes given by family and friends.

Boulangerie St-Donat has become a national supplier to major chain stores (direct store delivery) and also an important supplier of seasonal products such as during Maple season.

At the end of the 90s, Marie-Ève, Guillaume’s daughter, joined the company full time. Over the years, Marie-Ève has filled various positions in the company and became general manager in 2007.

High quality products and a passion shared by all at the bakery for a job well done are the special ingredients that keep the company growing. The staff at Boulangerie St-Donat is committed to enhancing and marketing products that combine Simplicity, Authenticity, Originality and Pleasure in order to sustain this growth.
